Auf der Zweijahreskonferenz der European Society for Ecological Economics (ESEE) vom 5.-8. Juni 2007 in Leipzig wurde durch die Syntheseforschung ein Symposium mit dem Titel "Economics and Sustainability" veranstaltet.
